ULAW online is dedicated to providing a flexible, structured approach to learning. This makes gaining an industry-respected qualification achievable whiles students balance existing time commitment.
Launched in 2022, ULAW Online has created a high-quality learning experience using the latest technology. QS (Quacquarelli Symonds ) have awarded ULAW 5 Starts for online learning. The QS 5* rating is awarded when an institution is recognised as world-leading.
The online campus gives access to the following student services and resources.
The University of Law is a specialist private university. It is one of the oldest legal education providers in the UK. Its origins go back to 1876 with the foundation of the leading tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon, which went on to join The Law Society School of Law. In 1962 these two schools became The College of Law. Finally, in 2012 it was granted full university status and became the University of Law.
The University believes that future lawyers and business leaders learn the profession using realistic, contemporary and practical contexts. Therefore, the University’s ethos is to keep class sizes small while keeping contact hours high.
The University has a business school, ULAW Business, and an online Campus ULAW Online. ULAW Online provides a full range of legal degrees, professional training, and a suite of degrees and Masters from the ULAW Business School.
The main university rankings do not include specialist institutions. The university of law falls into this category, so you will not find it in the main rankings tables. However, the university is still assessed for student satisfaction, teaching excellence and employment outcomes by QS.
The University has had degree awarding powers since 2006. All of the University’s postgraduate business courses are CMI accredited.
The University of Law’s online courses offer a flexible way to study full-time or part-time. Their courses have fixed assessment dates but give complete flexibility on when students put the work in the lead up to the assessments. This flexibility is ideal for working professionals balancing work and study.
The online library gives students access to all of the essential reading and access to online journals, articles and ebooks.
The library team at ULAW also offer training and workshops on research skills. Students can access the library team via live chat.
All ULAW online students have access to the same student support services as on-campus students. The university offers comprehensive support for all students with a dedicated support team of professionals. All online students can access 1-to-1 support and guidance.
