UAL Short Courses have no formal entry requirements and are open to all. However, some courses may require some prior experience. If you are in any doubt about your suitability, contact UAL Short Courses to find out more about the course content.
If you are an international student, and your first language is not English, it is recommended that you have at least an IELTS 4 or above to get the most from UAL Short Courses.
Upon successful completion of a UAL Short Course you are awarded a certificate of attendance and a Digital Badge to showcase your newly gained skills and accomplishment. Digital Badges can be shared in digital portfolios, used on CVs and added to social media profiles such as LinkedIn. They also make a great addition to university applications and are supported by the UCAS platform.
Please note however, that UAL Short Courses does not offer credit or a recognised qualification.
