About Us

The London Academy of Trading is an award-winning, dual-accredited provider of financial
trading education and was the first academy in the UK to offer accredited and regulated
qualifications in trading. We pride ourselves on providing practical and vocational training
courses developed to help individuals invest or trade in financial markets or for those looking
to enhance their employment opportunities within financial markets.

About the course:

The Advanced Trading course is perfect for those who are keen to understand the factors
which cause shifts and fluctuations in global financial markets. By studying this course, you
will gain a brand new skill set and increase the strength of your CV with an accredited,
regulated qualification.

This 12-week course is the academy’s pre-eminent programme, which doesn’t require any
prior knowledge. The programme starts with an introduction to the financial markets and an
overview of the essentials of trading before exploring macroeconomic events and how they
impact global markets.

You’ll learn how to build a solid and robust trading strategy with an in-depth insight into
technical analysis tools. You’ll also explore trading psychology and risk management to
understand how human emotions can influence financial decisions.

Whether you’re looking to trade commodities, stock indices, equities, forex, or other assets,
LAT offers insights into a variety of assets and how they’re associated to ensure you have
the necessary skills for trading. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Level 5
Diploma in Applied Financial Trading.

Choose whether to study online, face-to-face, or via a blended combination of the two. Have
the freedom to pause and resume your course as much as you like to suit your schedule.
We offer nine start dates each year, so there’s never long to wait for the next course to
begin. During the course, you will have access to three interactive webinars each day, a real-
time trading platform to practise new skills, and LAT mentors available ten hours a day for
1:1 trading guidance.

Our Expert Tutors

Our teaching faculty is comprised of experienced traders and analysts from major financial
institutions, including HSBC, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Bloomberg, who are eager to
support our students through this exciting path they’ve chosen to take. All students have
direct access to our team of trading mentors for ten hours every day, where they have the
chance to develop robust and structured trading strategies on a 1:1 basis. We also host
three daily webinars where our experts analyse the markets, answer questions, and
stimulate discussions to enhance the learning process.
