The specialized modules offered in this course delve into the various forms of serious and violent crime. With a practical approach, you will acquire the necessary expertise, skills, and qualities to take on leadership roles in this field. These modules encompass topics such as reflective practice, leadership, the psychology of serious offenses, and more, providing you with a distinctive opportunity to thoroughly examine serious and violent crime. Your degree concludes with an independent research project, enabling you to analyze a specific area of interest within a professional framework.
The primary focus of this course revolves around the current research-informed practices utilized in England and Wales, allowing you to critically assess, investigate, and manage serious and violent crime. Moreover, it explores criminal activities from a global perspective, including the worldwide impact and ramifications of terrorism and cybercrime.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma equivalent to a UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2).
If you are not an English native speaker, you will be required to provide us with a proof of English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above
