Spatial technologies are becoming increasingly important in a variety of commercial, industrial, and government occupations, as well as in many other fields. Nature conservation organisations, civil and coastal engineering projects, and marine and coastal zone management are examples of what is included. As a result, the need for expertise in GIS and associated technologies has increased substantially.
On this Geographic Information Systems (GIS) degree, you will learn about the strategies and tools for acquiring, storing, processing, classifying, analysing, and visualising geographically referenced data, as well as their application to the study of the Earth.
