Lancaster University’s curriculum is designed to fulfil the demands of professionals with institutional, regional, or national responsibility for language testing and assessment. The curriculum enables you to gain a firm basis in the design, production, and assessment of language tests, as well as in research design.
The programme will assist you in developing testing and evaluation policies that are valid and reliable in your particular environment and that adhere to worldwide standards of validity and reliability. Additionally, the curriculum is offered as a Postgraduate Certificate. Lancaster University’s plan is designed for part-time study over two years and includes an introduction to kick-start the course, five online courses, and a dissertation.
Additionally, the course provides chances for you to focus your coursework and dissertation on problems relevant to your educational or professional environment. The program’s curriculum takes into account recent advancements in language testing and reflects current thinking and best practises.
