The PG Cert in Health Professions Education is matched to the Professional Standards Framework for Higher Education in the United Kingdom, allowing you to apply for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. It is designed to reflect contemporary trends and practises in health professions education

This course will give you opportunities to interact with essential principles and philosophies of teaching and learning, which you may then use in your own professional setting as you progress through the course. You will be guided through this process by a variety of exercises and formative evaluations, which will be supplemented by individual tutorials that will stimulate personal reflection and goal planning, as well as the development of your abilities as an independent learner, as outlined above.
Studying alongside general practitioners, junior physicians, consultants, nurses, dentists, midwives, paramedics, and other allied health professions, conversation and inter-professional learning is essential to the liveliness of this course and will increase your student experience overall.
