The programme is intended for students who desire to go on to study a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Edinburgh Business School or elsewhere. Students should know how research works before beginning on a doctorate research programme. This application will assist you in doing the action you set out to complete.
On completion of the three doctoral business research courses, you will get the award PgCert in Business Research Methods. Students will have the ability to critically evaluate and develop research techniques and concepts on a wide range of issues. It also provides an excellent reference for the type of information a thesis should contain, as well as guidance on how to prepare for an examination that can earn you a PhD degree.
