The university has partnered with Futurelearn to deliver its online programmes. Currently, the university offers nine fully online, flexible Master’s degrees across a range of subjects.
Roehampton’s online Master’s degrees are modular. Each course consists of 7 units, followed by a research project studied part-time over two years. When studying, a dedicated support team is on hand to talk with students about any challenges they are facing.
The online courses are delivered through the University’s VLE (Virtual Learning Environment), which provides access to lectures, forums, learning activities, and tasks. Students also have access to the University’s online digital library, which contains all the academic texts and journals needed for the programmes.
Dating back to the 1840s, the University of Roehampton is known in London as one of the leading higher education institutions around town. Since then, we’ve come a long way in providing degrees to motivated students in the UK and beyond. Moving forward with the latest in London, we have been delivering online education for over a decade.
For the second year running, Roehampton has been ranked in the top 10 universities for student satisfaction at the postgraduate level (Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, 2023). Roehampton’s students have also given the University a 90% overall satisfaction rating, up 4 points on 2022, and placing the University as one of the best in the UK with this measure.
The university offers 2 MBAs and 7 Business focussed MSc degrees and 4 Computer Science based MScs 100% online with flexible learning schedules.

There are two price tiers for the fees based on the certificate awarded. All of Roehampton Online Master’s degrees are eligible for the UK Master’s Loan funding for UK based students.
